Today saw our young developing youth really step up and rewrite the score from the first half of the season. With a strong start on the offensive, the WATS team kept the ball moving well, pressing hard into the opposition’s half and keeping the pressure on throughout the first half. Shrewsbury put goals away, the second of which, from one of their youth, was a superb goal.
The second half saw a third goal from Shrewsbury but the WATS team continued to apply the pressure working well together in the D to open up more opportunities. All in all, superb movement on and off the ball, with great opportunities created by the lads.
