Tough game this week. After a few wins, complacency seemed to get the better of us, and despite being 1-0 up initially, from a well worked goal put away by Jack, our heads dropped when Shrewsbury returned the pressure and put a levelling goal past us soon after. Despite our efforts we frequently got caught up in a strong press from Shrewsbury and struggled to find width in our game. Shrewsbury’s attacks came thick and fast, but despite a valiant effort from the back line, especially our man of the match Jake, Shrewsbury took the lead with 3 more goals in the second half. A 1-4 loss saw a disappointing end to the match but lots to take away and build on for the WATS team.
