It was great that so many players and families were able to attend our club President's Day activities at Aldesley on Sunday (23rd April). The weather held, and a fun time was had by all.

Certificates were presented to all juniors who were there (Tom has the certificates for those juniors who were unable to be there). Adult players joined at 12pm for round robin mixed games. Members from all ages and teams joined in competitive, friendly games full of good humour. A big thank you to all the helpers, coaches and umpires who helped the day to run so smoothly.

We then gathered at Fordhouses Cricket Club for a superb tea, provided by players and members . Thank you everyone who provided such a wonderful array of food. I don't think I have seen so many chocolate goodies on a tea table or such a fabulous selection of cakes!

The presentation of awards then followed. A total of 33 awards were presented by club members from all sections of the club. Below are the award winners. Congratulations and well done to you all.

This was a fabulous family event which, from the comments coming my way, was appreciated and enjoyed by so many. A very BIG thank you from me to all of you who attended, contributed and helped.
